Development Policy Management Forum (DPMF) is a Regional CSO (Civil Society Organization) covering sub-Saharan African Countries. It has registered offices in Nairobi, Kenya and in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Since its inception in March 1995, DPMF has carried out important activities aimed at consolidating and institutionalizing democracy in Africa by focusing on Governance particularly monitoring and supporting the APRM both at the national and sub-regional level, and also enhancing the institutional capacity of the policy management process in African countries.
Furthermore Regional Integration as well as conflicts and post-conflict peace building are also important areas of DPMF activities. DPMF has created and is expanding a Pan-African network of concerned individuals and institutions who want to enhance the policy process in African countries in order to face the challenges of development, the reconstruction process in post-conflict countries, and of the African renaissance.
DPMF Vision: Africa that is peaceful, democratic, regionally integrated, as well as economically and socially developed.
DPMF Mission: To strengthen the institutionalization of Democratic process, Deepen democratic governance, and thus enhance the institutional capacity for development of policy in sub-Saharan Africa.
